Q: What do I need to do to start storing?

A: Moving in is really easy! We need one form of ID (passport, driving licence, recent utility bill etc.) Payment for the first week or four weeks, depending on your stay and your bank details or credit/debit card for set-up of ongoing payment. The contract is quick to set up. We will ask you a few questions, take your photograph and run through the Terms and Conditions with you. This only takes about 15mins. Q. Can I book my space online ?

A. Yes you can book your unit or obtain an online quotation HERE.

 

Q: What is the minimum length of time I can store for?

A: Our minimum storage term is 7 days (1 week). There is no limit to the length of your stay.

 

Q: Do I pay monthly or weekly?

A: If you are staying for only a week we ask you to pay weekly, if you are staying for a month or more we ask that you pay every four weeks (28 days). These can be either set up on Direct Debit or we can hold your Credit/Debit Card details for automatic payment.

 

Q: What type of storage do you have?

A: We have individual units and areas of open space of various sizes. Our units are made from steel with extra vent points, each unit has its own secure door with lock box and are measured in square feet. All units have an eight foot ceiling height.

 

Q: What size unit do I need?

A: The size of unit you require is calculated on the type and quantity of items you need to store. E.g. All contents of a 3 bed roomed house or 20 boxes.

Q: How do I pay?

A: Payment can be made by Credit Card (including American Express) Debit card or Direct Debit.

 

Q: What security do you have?

A: Our security is "2nd to none" - We have a secure perimeter to our facility accessible only by a secure pin code. This means that no-one is allowed on site without an authorised code. We have 24 hour digital CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms - these are set up to a 24 hour monitoring service.

 

Q: What are your opening hours?

A: You can access you unit 24/7 through our automated security gate. Our Office Hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm.

 

Q: How do I move my goods from my vehicle to my storage unit?

A: We have trolleys, all for customer use.

 

Q: When can I access my storage unit and do you charge extra for access?

A: You can access your storage unit whenever you need to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There is NO extra charge for access (even if it is 3am)

 

Q: Why do I need insurance if you are so secure?

A: We have done all that we can to ensure that our facility is clean, dry and secure, however, as members of the SSA (Self Storage Association) we have a duty to act under their guidelines and one of these areas is that all goods in storage need to be insured. This insurance makes sure that your valuable items are protected against things even out of our control - mainly extreme weather and fire! You may provide your own insurance - we would just need to see your certificate or you may be added to our policy. Please call the office and we will be happy to quote for you.

 

Q: Do you sell packaging material?

A: Yes! Everything from tape and boxes to house moving kits and tool kits! Why not come in during office hours and take a look at what we have to offer ?

 

Q: Do you do removals?

A: We do not, But we know a very reliable local firm who we can highly recommend, just ask for the details.

 

Q: What can I store in my storage unit ?

A: You can store almost anything at our facility. Including household items, furniture, cars, lorries, caravans, palletised goods, bulk goods the list goes on...

 

Q: When can I move in?

A: Today! (As long as you have signed the contract and set up payment)

 

Q: Is there anything that I can't store?

A: You are not permitted to store any of the following - Food and perishable goods unless they are securely packed. Birds, fish, animals and any other living creature. Combustible or Flammable materials such as gas, paint petrol, oil or cleaning solvents and compressed gases. Explosives, firearms, weapons or ammunition. Chemical, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos. Any item which emits smells, odour or fumes. Illegal substances, items or goods illegally obtained.

 

Q: Do you have access to my unit?

A: Absolutely NO !!, You supply your own lock and retain all the keys, this way you are in complete control of your unit and who can access it.

 

Q: Can you take delivery of goods for me?

A: Under certain circumstances we can take receipt of items for you. Please contact the office for more details.
